Welcome to Kabestan Yacht Club's photo pages!

Kabestan Yacht Club is an Anglo-Russian Yacht Club, formed in 2003. The idea is to bring together people who share a passion for the sea, whether they are a complete beginner or a seasoned professional.

Currently, the club has around 300 members, and we organise several regattas per year (pleasure and serious racing), as well as a wide range of events, allowing complete beginners to learn to sail, and professionals improve their skills, while competing in Club's match races. And, we also have some pretty cool parties, with plenty of drink and lots of sea-adventure stories, some of which are even true!

Members are also able to train on club's ocean sailing yacht, moored on the South coast of England, in Brighton.

Throughout the year, but mostly Summer and Spring, we run a series of one day sailing events, as well as more lengthy trips to France. And no, you don't need any experience, so check out the club and see if you would like to join in at some stage.

There is no membership fee, most of the events are charged at cost, i.e. whatever the charter company charges us, and you are guaranteed to meet new people and learn something new if you are already a seasoned sailor. At the last count, we have members from 12 countries, speaking a whole range of languages, making Kabestan a truly international sailing club.
